To All My Valued Customers (1 )
Why I have to relocate and start Mobile Service
Service Description
Dear Friends and Customers, This is Ling (Penny), owner of VILLAGE MASSAGE. We recently hoped to move to a larger space. However, the Peachtree Corners City Government would not allow us to sell our business or move to a location across the street. We have not been able to reach an agreement on rent and renovation. Therefore, we have chosen to temporarily close the store. We are currently offering home service appointments with portable massage equipment. We now accept couples and female customers only. Our reservation phone number remains unchanged. We invite you to try our new services. I would like to formally explain to all our customers what’s happened. Peachtree Corners City Hall updated the regulations recently, prohibiting illicit activities in massage businesses. Under a Special Use Permit (SUP), massage practitioners who wish to transfer, modify, rename, or move within the same area must now submit to a formal hearing. As you know, VILLAGE MASSAGE has been open for many years without needed renovation. In the past two years, I have visited CITY HALL repeatedly only to be told I must submit to a hearing. Initially, I proposed moving to a vacant massage shop next to the gas station. CITY HALL required me to hold a hearing. I spent a few months looking for a lawyer. Meanwhile, a local White-owned SPA from 3466 Holcomb Bridge Road, Norcross, GA 30092 moved to the location I had hoped to occupy. I have confirmed with Peachtree City officials that this business was allowed to move in without a hearing! Personal medical issues and stress complicated matters, but CITY HALL made no allowance for these.
